Cannabis Dispensary Near the National Mall in Washington DC
There are no dispensaries on the National Mall itself, but Jars DC in Chinatown is close: about 15 minutes on foot from the museums along 7th Street.
Getting here from the Mall
Walk north up 7th Street NW from the National Gallery of Art or the Archives, through Penn Quarter, to H Street. Or take the Green or Yellow Line one stop from Archives-Navy Memorial to Gallery Place-Chinatown.
Important: the Mall is federal land
Cannabis is illegal under federal law, and that applies on federal property. The National Mall, the monuments and the Smithsonian grounds are all federal land, so don’t carry or use cannabis there. Using cannabis in any public place is also against DC law.
