Does Washington DC have licensed cannabis dispensaries?
Yes. Licensed medical cannabis retailers are regulated by ABCA. See licensed dispensary DC.
Is cannabis recreational in DC?
Adults 21 and over can legally possess cannabis within limits, but there are no licensed recreational sales. Licensed stores sell through the medical cannabis program.
Can I use cannabis in public?
No. Public use is illegal in DC, and cannabis is banned on federal land such as the National Mall.

Up to eight ounces in a rolling 30-day period for registered patients.
